Audiences TV bon score pour la série The MentalistComme attendu, TF1 a écrasé la concurrence avec The Mentalist. Le premier épisode a réalisé un score énorme: 9.034.000 téléspectateurs, soit 35.9% de part d’audience. La série Fringe a surfé sur le succès an maintenant éveillé 2.200.000 téléspectateurs, 27% du public.
Louis Laforge a fait de son mieux mais Des racines et des ailes, consacré au patrimoine, n’a intéressé que 2.940.000 personnes sur France 3, soit 12.1% de pda.
France 2 avait tenté un coup avec la diffusion d’un téléfilm sans tête d’affiche, En marge des jours. Pari pas totalement perdu puisqu’il termine devant M6 avec 2.660.000 personnes (10.8% de pda). Nouvelle déception pour Jean-Luc Lemoine, qui n’y arrive décidemment pas. Son Bureau des plaintes n’a été regardé que par 988.000 téléspectateurs (9.4% de pda)
Déception donc pour la Six. Le retour d’On a échangé nos mamans, avec deux épisodes, n’a suscité l’intérêt que de 1.989.000 téléspectateurs (7.9% de pda).
Le documentaire Quand l’Allemagne de l’Est voulait envahir la Pologne sur Arte a intéressé 212.000 téléspectateurs (0.8% du public).

Isn’t it interesting that a cheap, pracidteble game show like Winter Wipeout beats almost all scripted fare on the broadcast networks? This should be a lesson for the broadcast networks: Don’t copy the cable networks, don’t produce quirky or gritty series for niches! Get back to the stuff that you have done twenty or thirty years ago, get series on the air that appeal to the audience as a whole.
